John Derian’s early obsession with printed matter ultimately led him to decoupage, the art of cutting and pasting paper and he set up his New York City studio in 1989 with a team of artisans creating glass plates, trays, bowls, and other decorative home items with imagery from his vast and ever-expanding collection of 18th and 19th century prints. His pieces are coveted and collected across the globe - Picture Book Wallpapers II celebrates this unique style with decorative wallpapers and scenic panels created from his archive of extraordinary images. Elegant flowers, butterflies, exotic birds, and fauna mix with botanical studies and indigo prints in a collection that is both contemporary and utterly classic. Introducing new digitally printed wide wallpaper borders. All printed on smooth non-woven grounds for ease of hanging and installation.
